The Hayes Township Board of Trustees and Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will be holding a meeting at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Hayes Township Hall, 09195 Old US 31 N., Charlevoix. NOTICE – Camp Sea-Gull
Hayes Township Park, Camp Sea-Gull will be closed to the public beginning October 1, 2014. A crew will be working on site to remove all the dead ash trees. The park will re-open as soon as the project is complete. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

HAYES TOWNSHIP SNOW REMOVAL BIDS
Hayes Township, Charlevoix County will be accepting bids for the following snow removal projects.1. Township Hall & Fire Barn 09195 Old US 31 N The bid should include snow removal and salting/sanding of parking areas and fire barn entrance, shoveling and salting/sanding of walk-in areas. The bid should be broken down to separate snow removal and salting/sanding costs. The parking area of the Township Hall must be cleared by 8:00 a.m. following a snow fall and the Township Fire Barn snow accumulation must not exceed four (4) inches. Spring clean-up of plowed gravel and grass clumps and reseeding of bare plowed areas must be completed by April 15, 2015.
2. Hayes Township Park – Camp Sea-Gull 08580 Boyne City Road The bid is for the removal of snow in the entrance and a parking area approximately 80’ x 130’ at the top of the hill in the Hayes Township Park, Camp Sea-Gull.
You may bid on one or both projects but they must be presented as two separate bids. Proof of liability and workers comp insurance must be provided before a contract can be signed. Mail bids to Hayes Township Clerk, 09195 Old US 31 N., Charlevoix, MI 49720. Bids must be received by October 3, 2014.
