Hayes Township is looking for a person/s to live in residence at the Hayes Township Park, Camp Sea-Gull. The applicant must commit to living on site full time thru September. Preference will be given to Hayes Township residents but township residency is not required. Light maintenance duties will be assigned in exchange for free rent. The park is pet and smoke free. References and back ground check will be required.

The Hayes Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 beginning at 7:30pm in the Hayes Township Hall at 09195 Old US-31, Charlevoix to accept comments on the proposed Master Plan Update.
The draft Master Plan is available on-line at www.hayestownshipmi.gov, see Master Plan tab.

The Hayes Township Board will hold its Annual Meeting & Budget Hearing for the fiscal year 2014/2015 on June 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. prior to the regular meeting at the Hayes Township Hall, 09195 Old US 31 North, Charlevoix, Michigan
The budget concerning estimated revenues and proposed expenditures will be submitted for consideration at this meeting. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
A copy of the proposed budget will be available for inspection after June 3, 2014, by calling Marlene Golovich, Clerk at 547-6961.

The Hayes Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will be holding a meeting at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Hayes Township Park, Camp Sea-Gull, 08580 Boyne City Rd., Charlevoix. The Board of Trustee may also be attending this meeting to discuss the final plans for the park open house. The public is welcome to participate.
